We could not have enjoyed our stay more! We booked our last weekend trip before winter hit with Stanley River Retreat. We were thrilled to find a vacant cabin by the river that would accept pets. The day before our departure, the owner contacted us to let us know she had upgraded us to cabin 11. Simply because it was available, and she thought we'd enjoy it:) Cabin 11 has a full kitchen which was perfect for our snowy weekend. It was peaceful and gorgeous, an eagle sat in the tree by the river while we played cards! We cannot wait to visit again and tell our friends about our new find. We highly recommend you check it out.

This is like the 5th or 6th time staying in these cabins and every stay has been great. The upgrades to the cabins and area around the river are so cozy and welcoming. I will return as long as it’s there. It’s my little escape when needed. Hard to find anything to complain about when you have a view like the Sawtooths.

Good vibes all around, can't wait to return!
A perfect place to relax and unwind! Our cabin was cozy, well appointed, with beautiful views right on the Salmon river. We were able to enjoy coffee on the porch while watching a bald eagle patrol the river for breakfast! The sauna was an awesome perk especially going into the winter. These places would be a good fit to book in any season!
We met the owner who seems very involved in the local community and was incredibly hospitable. Good vibes all around, can't wait to return!-Tripp
